(Portersville, PA) – In honor of America’s 250th birthday, the Moraine State Park Regatta is thrilled to announce that the Butler County Symphony Orchestra will headline the grand finale of this year’s Live at Lake Arthur concert set on at Lake Arthur’s South Shore on Sunday, August 2, 2026.

Families and music lovers are invited to grab their favorite lawn chairs and blankets for a spectacular, free afternoon of music by the water that celebrates the intersection of our natural environment and the arts. Closing out a full weekend of eco-recreational fun at the Regatta, the Butler County Symphony Orchestra will take the stage on Sunday at 3:30pm to perform three vibrant and educational sets of music—spanning everything from stirring patriotic classics to fun, contemporary American favorites.

“Music has always been at the heart of our nation’s history, and we are honored to partner with the Moraine State Park Regatta to mark the America 250 milestone,” said Executive Director of the Butler County Symphony Orchestra Edward J. DeSantis. “This accessible lakeside performance is a celebration of community, culture, and the natural beauty of Western Pennsylvania. We look forward to providing a majestic musical finale to an already wonderful weekend.”

This landmark performance is supported in part by a grant from Experience Butler County, and additional fundraising is underway to bring the full vision to life.
