LAKE ARTHUR LILY PAD KIDS’ ACTIVITIES

A Weekend Packed with Family-Friendly Activities
Regatta 2023 will host lots of kids’ activities! In addition to the recreation opportunities on site, there will be multiple programs throughout the Regatta weekend. Bring your littles to the Lake Arthur Lily Pad for a variety of activities which are all FREE. Attendees will have the opportunity to get up close and personal with a variety of reptiles with Reach Out Reptiles. Lowes will be returning with more small projects for kids to do, with kits and tools all provided. It’s also a great opportunity to learn about wildlife with Stormy Oaks Nature Conservancy. Kids can try out fishing with our volunteers, where we have a special permit – fishing licenses aren’t required. Kids who catch their first fish at the Regatta will receive a special certificate! Girl Scouts of Western PA will be hosting a bubble station for everyone to blow some bubbles and POP them!
In addition to all of the above activities, there will be specific vendors who have kids’ activities for a small fee, like the barrel train. Kids always love the variety of frozen desserts on site, and the beach is open for swimming and playing in the sand.
Lake Arthur has something for all ages at the Moraine State Park Regatta.
I have to tell you how much my husband and I enjoyed ourselves. Everything seemed to flow well and was enjoyable. Our kids are grown, so we talked about how much they would have enjoyed different activities at 6 or 16, and talked about “next year” and what the gr-nieces would want to do.
