RACES
Every regatta needs competitive water sports, and our 2022 event was no exception.
Forty 2022 attendees joined the American Cancer Society for the Pittsburgh Paddlesport Race and SurfSUP Adventures for the PA SUP Championships.
These races both began at the non-motorized boat launch on the South Shore.
4th Annual Pittsburgh Paddlesport Championships
In 2018, Performance Kayak and the American Cancer Society teamed up for the first time to bring you the Pittsburgh Paddlesports Championships. Our move to Moraine State Park Regatta at Lake Arthur is exciting, and we are looking forward to bringing you longer routes, more options and overall, a unique race experience!
Pennsylvania SUP Championship at Moraine State Park
The race offered an array of divisions including Kayaks, Canoes, and SUP! Registration proceeds benefited the First Waves program to support education and conservation efforts for under-served youth in the Greater Pittsburgh region. Kayak and Canoe registrants benefited the American Cancer Society.
